What sorts of things do Sister Cities groups do?

Our Sister Cities initiative can provide opportunities for:

  • Our citizens to build personal relationships through youth and adult exchange visits and participation in social and cultural opportunities.
  • Municipal and community problem solving through projects that connect our business, government and community leaders with their counterparts in another country.
  • Engaging our students and adults in international affairs through cross-cultural experiences, and citizen diplomacy
  • Greater understanding of others' culture, history and government.
