OF A MEETING OF THE CLARKSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL
Held On March 27, 2007
A
meeting of the Clarksville Town Council was called to order on March
27, 2007 at 7:30 P.M. in the meeting room of the Clarksville Municipal
Center Administration Building by Council President Paul Kraft,
who chaired the meeting.
Council
members present: Paul Kraft, Gregory Isgrigg, Kelly Conn, Raymond
Richert, Donald Tetley, Bob Popp and David Fisher. Council members
absent: None. Also present at the meeting: Fire Chief Bob Hansford,
Police Chief Dwight Ingle, Street Commissioner Donald Hansford,
Town Engineer Tom Clevidence, Office Manager Dorothea Leuthart representing
the Wastewater Billing Office, Mike Otto representing the Towns
wastewater treatment facility management firm, Redevelopment Director
Richard Dickman, Planning Consultant Sharon Wilson, Parks Superintendent
Brian Kaluzny, Building Inspector Bob Polston, Council Administrative
Assistant Patricia Fraser, Clerk-Treasurer Gary Hall, and Deputy
Clerk-Treasurer Anita Elliott.
Public
Hearing Regarding Petition to Vacate Public Way
No
one was present to introduce information regarding location and
this item was tabled.
Approval
for Two Sewer Tap Ins at 2609 Gutford Road
Mr. Eric
Baird of 2609 Gutford Road came before the council requesting to
tap into the Towns sanitary sewer lines at 2609 Gutford Road
where he intends to demolish an existing home and build two patio
homes. Mike Otto, representing the Clarksville Wastewater Treatment
Plant, reported that the line Mr. Baird is requesting to tap into
is sufficient for the intended purpose. Following discussion a motion
was made by Councilman Isgrigg that Mr. Baird be allowed to tap
into the Towns sanitary sewer lines according to the Towns
ordinance regulations. The motion was seconded by Councilman Popp
and carried by unanimous vote.
Miscellaneous
Business
Trish Fraser reported that the students and
chaperones from Clarksville schools have departed to Clarksvilles
soon-to-be-official Sister City, La Garenne-Colombes, France. Councilman
Popp reminded the council and the public of the annual basketball
tournament fund raiser for the Clarksville Historical Society to
be held on April 3, 2007.
Approval
of Claims
Accounts payable registers presented for
approval consisted of Town pre-approved claims issued 3/11/07 through
3/27/07 in the amount of $120,573.46 Town current claims numbered
zero through 55 in the amount of $67,891.01, Town and Wastewater
utility gross payroll issued 3/16/07 in the amount of $235,912.44,
Wastewater utility pre-approved claims issued 3/13/07 through 3/27/07
in the amount of $233,216.65 and Wastewater utility current claims
numbered one through 15 in the amount of $9,170.10. A motion was
made by Councilman Isgrigg to approve the accounts payable registers
presented. The motion was seconded by Councilman Fisher and carried
by unanimous vote.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Council at this
time, on a motion made by Councilman Conn, seconded by Councilman
Richert, and carried by unanimous vote, the March 27, 2007 meeting
of the Clarksville Town Council was adjourned at 7:38 P.M.
