Temporary lane closures planned on State Road 265/I-265 and U.S. 31 in Clark County

CLARK COUNTY, IN (May 20, 2024)  — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor C-Tech Corporation plans to conduct temporary lane closures on State Road 265/I-265 and U.S. 31 beginning on or after Monday, May 20, to complete guardrail maintenance work in Clark County.

The lane closures are currently scheduled as follows:

Monday, May 20 (weather permitting): The left lane of eastbound S.R. 265/I-265 will close approximately ½ mile west of the S.R. 62 and 10th Street Interchange in Clark County (7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. from MM 8.2 to MM 8.7).

Monday, May 20 (weather permitting): The left lane of eastbound I-265 will close approximately ¼ mile West of the I-65 interchange in Clark County (9:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. from MM 6.4 to MM 6.9)

Tuesday, May 21 (weather permitting): The left lane southbound U.S. 31 will close just north of Stansifer Avenue in Jeffersonville (12:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. from MM 1.9 to 1.4).

INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
