Local Groups Encouraging Leadership and Growth in Clarksville Youth

CLARKSVILLE, IN (May 31, 2024) – Several local non-profits are on a mission to help local youth learn and grow.  Now the Town of Clarksville has created a new place for those groups to share their stories.  A new Youth Organizations page has been added to the town website for local groups supporting area youth.  Those groups include Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, the Clarksville Youth Council, and others.

“The goal of this new page is to spread awareness about many of the great organizations making a difference in the lives of Clarksville youth,” said Ken Conklin, Clarksville’s Communications Director.  “Our hope is that this page will allow these organizations to grow and help even more kids in the area.”

Groups interested in joining the page should email a request to info@townofclarksville.com.  The requests will then be reviewed by town staff for approval.  The page is open to any non-profit which promotes leadership, learning, fun, and education of local youth.  It is not for religious organizations, for-profit businesses, or for groups not located in the Town of Clarksville.
